Effective, but delivery slow

I bought the CPR V10000 Call Blocker after dealing with too many nuisance calls. The product itself is very effective; it started blocking calls as soon as I set it up, which took about 15 minutes. The instructions were clear enough. My only real gripe was the shipping time. It took 9 days to reach me in Arizona, which felt a bit long. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay, which was a plus. Overall, it's a solid product and has improved my peace of mind, just wish it had arrived a bit quicker.

V5000 is fantastic!

I got the CPR V5000 Call Blocker and it's been a game changer! Installation was really easy, just plugged it in and it started working right away. No more annoying robocalls or telemarketers interrupting my evenings. It's so quiet and discreet, you barely know it's there. I've already told my sister about it, and she's going to order one too. Will absolutely shop here again for other accessories or gifts!

Good value landline blocker

I was looking for a good deal on a landline call blocker and found the CPR Call Blocker Shield here. I signed up for the newsletter and got 10% off, which made it a pretty sweet deal. Shipping was free too, which always helps. The device arrived in about a week. It does what it's supposed to, blocks those unwanted calls. For the price I paid, it was definitely worth it.

Anyone know if the newsletter signup discount stacks with other deals, like if they have a Black Friday sale?

M Marcus V. 2 months ago
No, pretty sure it's one coupon per order. Tried to use two during Cyber Monday last year and it wouldn't let me.

K Kevin 2 months ago
They usually only let you use one code at a time. So if there's a bigger sale, that might be better than the newsletter one.

I'm looking at the V5000 and the V10000. Is the V10000 really worth the extra cash? What's the main difference?

M Mike Nguyen 2 months ago
The V10000 usually holds way more numbers in its block list. If you get a TON of junk calls or want to block entire area codes, it's probably better. Otherwise, the 5000 is usually enough for most people.

V10000 has a bigger capacity for blocking numbers and more advanced features like silent mode for anonymous calls. If you're really bombarded, go for the 10000. For just annoying robocalls, the 5000 is solid.

My dad's a vet, does this company offer any kind of military discount?

J June Reyes 2 months ago
Yeah, they do have a military discount. My husband used it when we bought ours. Check their site for how to apply for it.

I'm pretty sure I saw something about a military discount on their FAQ. Worth looking into!

Are these devices actually legit? I've seen a few different brands out there and some just seem like scams themselves.

S Sarah 1 month ago
Totally legit. I've had the V5000 for like a year now and it's cut down on so many junk calls. Best money I ever spent.

Yeah, they're a real company. Had a small issue with my order once and their customer service sorted it out pretty quick. Not some fly-by-night operation.

What's their return policy like? Just in case it doesn't work out for my parents.

D Derek Marsh 1 month ago
Returns were easy, did it last month. Just had to send it back within the window they give. No fuss.

I think they have a standard return window, like 30 days or something. Check their site, but it seemed pretty straightforward if you need to send it back.

Do these things charge a monthly fee or is it just a one-time purchase?

J Jared W. 2 months ago
One-time purchase! No subscription fees, which is awesome.

T Tara 2 months ago
Nope, no subscription. You buy it, you own it, you block calls. Done.

Hey, thinking about grabbing one of these call blockers for my mom's landline. Does it matter which phone company she has?

I Ivy 1 month ago
Nah, shouldn't matter. I got one for my grandma and she has AT&T, works fine. It's more about the phone line itself.

D Daisy Y. 1 month ago
Yeah, I think they generally work with most landline providers, whether it's cable or traditional. Only thing you might want to double check is if she has a really old VOIP setup, but for standard landlines, you're usually good.
